If you figs will go ahead and kick OSU in the balls and bring home a NC, the SEC can pretty much flip the finger to whomever we please.

Coaches that sucked in the NFL

no one could have won at Atlanta this season with all the shite they've been through. The one person who's really pissed is Brohm who had to feel assured he was going top5 to the falcons

Rocket, your stress level seems to have dropped considerably. Hopefully you are off of 24x7 cigarettes and coffee.

No, not yet.

I really like JDR, but we were all grasping for straws with that one.

Maybe, either way I think we could have pulled in an upgrade from Les.

Someone please explain why he would leave to go to Arkansas. Please!? I suspect if he put his name out there he could have been at the top of Michigan's list. I'm happy for the SEC, and he's a HUGE catch for them, but Arkansas' program/administration/fanbase is a complete mess right now. Their talent pool is pretty poor generally. Hell, I'd rather be at Louisville than Arkansas as a coach...

not really scared of petrino, he couldn't win the big east with all the talent he had last year. and arky is losing alot of talent this year.

yeah ESPN Radio or Fox Sports Radio or some station on XM today was saying they thought Petrino would go for the Michigan job.

not anymore...JFB is gone and HDN is gone...therefore, they are only going up from here

Arkansas has more money than most, an entire state behind it, the best facilities in the SEC, and do not confuse yourself into thinking that "lil ole' Arkansas can't get talent."

essentially, the same reason why saban left the dolphins

he realized he isnt NFL-material and he bolted for a good job in college, where he has proven to be legit

Petrino's from the South. I find it interesting that coaches from the North and midwest often find themselves coaching in the South, but you never hear about a guy from the South getting hired at a northern school like Michitigan.

I think the Arkansas job is a good one. Too many people repeat that the Arkansas job sucks and it becomes fact. Despite all evidence to the contrary that it has been trending up in success. WHy cannot Arkansas recruit the areas around it? What if horrors Arkansas starts to get more agressive in Shreveport and Monroe. Lots of ALumni there.

I just think he stepped into a snake pit in Atlanta. Had he gone to less of a car wreck he might not have pulled out so quickly.
