This decision to report the Tyrone Nix stuff, on the freaking air, means that there was no one of authority in the news room at the time. Otherwise, they wouldn't have let him do it. Matt just ran win this and he was probably fricked up on pills when he decided to do it.

For sure. What people don't get on that fricking message board is that they combinded KNWA and hogville on purpose. MONEY. the more hits that come, the more that they get. They are okay with sacrificing journalism b/c it keeps people glued to that message board.

This is new journalism. With the advent of Twitte and Facebook, people are able to follow a story in real time as it develops. This isn't just limited to coaching searches either.
Next time big news happens in Fayetteville notice what the big 3 stations do: they give you info as soon as they have it because they want to be first. If you check your facts and wait til the 6 o'clock news, you're in third place.

I guess if I were to call the YouofA and talk about my interest in becoming the DC, then have a friend of a friend in NWA call Matt Turner and tell him I was now a top candidate who may have been hired, Matt Turner will tweet it and post the info on HV stating it as fact.
