You can't be serious. A rallying cry for Miles haters is that he never put inferior opponents away. Never kept the foot on the gas. Never demolished them like LSU was supposed to do. Don't even try to deny that.

so you are conceding that getting shutout by bama is ok. that game was not about etling and his ability. its not n his shoulders. come on.

Your putting words into my mouth. No it wasn't ok. But I expect a different game plan next year. Until LSU finds a SOLID QB, it'll be the same story unless they go spread. Lining up in pro form will not beat Alabama. Miles built a pro form offense. O couldn't change it that deep in the year. It's what they had. I expect formation and strategy to change in 17, so we will see how that goes.

No, that game wasn't about Etling and his lack of ability. But that lack of ability sure didn't help

We will be outstanding on defense and we should have a very good running game next year

Beyond that, tons of questions

My hope before this morning was we would hire someone that we could watch on saturdays and say "that is a well coached football team"

My heart says "give him a chance," my head says "we are fricked"

One request for CEO, please hire a real special teams coach

The plan was always there. The execution was lacking at times. Capable young men though.

Who lost Florida 2009? Was it Reuban Randle? Was it because he is incapable of showing human emotion?

No. that's not how it works. It only works when it helps LSU.

Who blew it against Mississippi State in 2014? Surely it couldn't have been Kwon Alexander? Surely not.

After 3 pages of that. I'll concede.

The players are NEVER responsible for fricking up in a game. NEVER! They are all perfect robots. It's the coaches that have to go out and execute.

How silly of me.

Harris blew it against Miss State in 2014.

The last play of the game was supposed to be a touchdown but he didn't complete it.

We will take a step back on defense for sure. Aranda is a great DC, but we lose A LOT on defense.

Lining up pro form with Miles had Alabama losing late in the 4th Quarter, and if our gracious Lord were not a brutal God, we would have won those games if Kevin Minter didn't single-handedly lose the 2012 game because he couldn't tackle Yeldon on that ill-fated screen pass.

Probably because Fournette left like 4 TDs on the field that day.

YOU are the one saying the losses are not on Orgeron. Not us.

No it's the other way around. Coaches never take any responsibility since it's the player's job to execute, ergo specific players should be blamed or praised for every loss. Traditionally football was thought of as a team game, but you've shown us the light. It's really a game of individuals with no influence from coaches.

Dude. Don't take it personally. Orgeron is a huge question mark. Maybe he has learned from his Ole Miss stint. But that's going to be a difficult image to shed. I'm not confident in him but I will support the tigers in every game and by default support Orgeron.

I'd feel much better if we would have given Aranda the job. What's the point of Orgeron. He won't be running either side of the ball and we risk losing Aranda if not later this year in the years to come.

I just don't like that we are tying ourself to a coach who has no real gameday value.

Saban runs the defense where he is at. Jimbo runs the offense. Herman runs the offense. Orgeron runs the vcr during film study.

The head coach has to recruit players that can execute and hire the coaches responsible for ensuring that they will execute. I hate the "players didn't execute" argument, even though it might not be fairly applied to O as an interim coach.
