There’s no evidence online of Pete Golding interviewing for any head coaching job. Maybe you’re right and he and his agent have been working in the shadows for years.

They know damn well no one wants Pete Golding. It’s a battlefield promotion and he wouldn’t have sniffed the job under any other circumstances.

Maybe he hasn’t been interested. He and his family love Oxford, and don’t feel the need to make documentaries telling everyone about it.

Wilson isnt a loss it woulda before NIL especially in new orleans. Now it doesn't matter we just buy who we want. It's all about money now so frank leaving doesnt hurt us a bit. Let the Ole piss clow s think what they want.

So their offense was better than ours and our defense was better than theirs and we get their offensive staff and keep our defensive staff.

We are coming out on the better end of this deal.

Yea let’s not forget how bad the OM Defense has struggled in the past under the supervision of now HC Pete Golding. I think we will be just fine.

I think Golding is a way better coach than most on here give him credit for but this is really reaching. He hasn't shown anything in his career he has anything in common with these 2 outside being young and the other made a career with Saban. The same Bama that basically told Golding to take a hike because Saban didn't want to humiliate him into getting fired.

The hit-rate on coaches jumping from good jobs to seemingly easier-to-succeed-at jobs like Lane has is pretty low.

If you have enough data to make the assumption that this number is pretty low, can you give me 5 examples of this?

LSU took 14 staffers. Ole Miss took 3. It’s not much of an exchange.

LSU had a good defense so we kept the defensive staff, we had an awful offense and HCso we got kiffin and ole miss offensive staff which had a great offense. Ole miss took the worst offensive staff in sec and replaced the best offensive staff with the worst and kept the d the same. Huge win for LSU

Pete hasn’t shown himself to be a pathological liar to this point, so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.
