Either ESPN got the day wrong, or Kiffin did a Lane load of misleading.

We absolutely embarrassed ole miss. We took their head coach, dropped two private jets at their airport and then sent another different jet today. We have their offensive staff minus 1 guy and now just to do it we will pay a playoff bonus lol

Why? Anyone with half a brain knew that Lane had likely informed OM on Saturday that he was accepting the LSU job and the continued conversations were regarding whether he would get to continue coaching the team through the playoff.

I think he signed it right after the iron bowl. It was then that it was reported LSU was sending planes for him the next day. They wouldn’t have done that if the contract hadn’t been signed.

Stop trying to make something out of nothing.
