Whatever he's hearing, he probably believes it's legit.
He doesn't know anything for certain, but he's undeniably plugged in and has some serious sources.
In this podcast he cited Riley's absence from his press conference and coaching show last week - and that was coming off a bye week.
Stuff like that just doesn't happen unless there's something going on.

This could be a controlled leak from Riley's people. LSU's offer is on the table at 12 mill. Supposedly Oklahoma has been trying to get close for weeks and it's starting to piss off the Riley camp. The loss to Baylor this weekend really has boosters wondering about matching that kind of money.

Make it a $2.5 Million raise at $10 Million year. With raise up to $12 Million year for Championship and another $1 Million Annual Bonus for getting into the playoffs. Do a 10 year contract that rolls over every year with a winning season.
