I would take him in a second. He's arrogant, clean, tough, smart and his teams were always well prepared.

You would think, since he's so awesome, he would have big name schools clamoring all over themselves to get him.

I wouldn't welcome him in. He would not be someone that would inspire confidence.

Patterson prob wont come here

Patterson isn't coming to LSU and to be honest, I don't really want him.

Why do we have to have a re-tread SEC coach. How many successful SEC coaches were former SEC coaches? Miles, Saban, Meyer, Petrino, etc. all came from other confrences.

At this stage in the game we wouldnt have alot of choices.

But we do have better than Tubberville. Here are a list of current coaches I'd take over TT (not necessarily in this order)

Brady Hoke
Kevin Sumlin
Pat Fitzgerald
Butch Davis
Gus Malzahn
Dan Mullen
Tom O'Brien
Jim Grobe
Jeff Tedford
Doug Marrone
Art Briles
Bo Pelini
Charlie Strong
Bobby Petrino
Chris Petersen
Greg Schiano
Dana Holgorsen
Kyle Whittingham
Steve Sarkisian
George O'Leary

If Miles leaves and we replace him with Tubbs, HDN, or some other worthless coach, Max gets lynched.

Tubberville would be an upgrade over Miles, but I would hope we looked at some other guys first, especially if Patterson were interested. Tubberville would do very well at LSU, as would a lot of other guys. Only negative to Tubberville would be losing Choctaw to Starkville.

and Gus Malzahn....which is the reason they gave him $1.2 M to say.
