I would prefer Walker and O, but I can live with Chavis and O.

I did think it was interesting that Chavis interviewed with Clemson some time ago and nothing has been heard of about it since.

I'm pretty sure you were one of the people running off at the mouth that nothing would be done. Now, Les has to hurry to calm your intense suspense.

Gotcha. Tenuta and Walker have been my top choices since Bo left, but I think I could deal with the Chief.

+1.

If we got Walker or Tenuta on their own, but no O I would still be thrilled.

Can anyone confirm this WIllis stuff as more than just a rumor?

Yeah, I think we should sign O before Chavis just to make sure this is the case. I know that's backwards but O is a must.

So what. Are the thought police out and on duty so early?

And BTW, nothing is officially done yet. My statement did not say "hurry Les" it was a statement saying I'll be glad when this is done. The candidate du jour ride is getting old. So sorry if that offends your sensibilities.

Seriously though, how would the head recruiting thing work? Henson did just pull in the possible #1 class, does he share the title of head recruiting coordinator?

It's usually the names you hear most that we end up not getting. I'm not about to get my hopes up because this is probably no where close to who we end up getting.

Then deal with it. You notice that pendulum is the rhythm we're all dealing with on this whole process. One day, it's ... and the next day, it's ... and the same day it's ... and then it's ... and all the various bandwagoneers are hopping around from one to the next. I just want it decided.

you cannot argue with a guy who has had thier defense ranking in the top 10 consistantly while playing in the sec east. He may very well be the best candidate out there.

with our talent

chavis in the box, And o ripping arse on the field

I thought there was evidence to show otherwise, didn't his defense not finish in the top 30 like 2 out of the last 3 years?

It'll prob just be like FSU does, asst HC, assoc HC, etc. All just semantics, bottom line is more money.

yup. actually 3 of the last 5, but who's counting? 40% of the time, it works every time.

would be disappointing after all the other names that have surfaced

I dunno, we see a lot of the Tennessee D as LSU fans, but it's not like Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, or UCLA have been any better or worse than the UT D - just one man's opinion.
