I would bang Caitlyn Jenner for an OC with Chavis type production at LSU.

They also used to have Willie Taggert, so bear that in mind. They are a little spoiled when it comes to offensive systems down there.

The dude had the number 7 offense in college football and they want him gone. I don't understand that.

Because Quinton Flowers is the guy that made shite happen on his own after everything broke down. Time. After. Time. Flowers was basically the entire offense and it wasn't because of playcalling.

I think the offense had a bad bowl game so they don’t like him right now. Seen that on twitter when I looked up his name

You don't understand that he had a really good offense and they didn't play a good defense all year? In a Crappy conference

He was there one year in 2016 and Texas finished 14th in total offense with 492 ypg

14th overall nice, what was the 90th + ranking I thought I saw someone throw out?

No sure. They were only 46th in scoring with 31.9 ppg. Their defense was awful allowing 31.5 ppg that was ranked 91st

Those guys were spoiled to death by Taggart...just shows how far behind we are as far as Offense goes.

Just reading from there page, there fans basically are saying they don't have the personnel to run what type of offense he wants.

He had to built a offense around Flowers, bc there oline and wrs were average at best

And what he did at Texas with all the transfers and lack of true talent was amazing

Is that O's game? Make everybody think he's hiring Ensminger so that whoever he really hires seems like the logical better choice?

Well if you want to know what they really think, tell them their new offensive coordinator will be Ensminger. They will want Gilbert back REAL quick

That team relied 100% on the QB flowers. I live in tampa and went to a few games. Flowers turned BS offensive play calling into explosive plays because that dude is a boss.

The fans I know weren't happy about him in year 1, but they also understood that it was only year 1 and were hoping the system would settle in.

I think both sides are true here. USF was 100% Flowers, but Gilbert has also been extremely successful. I love what he did at Tulsa a few years ago.

Just my thought. Pomansky floated gilbert so lsu fans would revolt on the rant. Didnt expect the love for even gilbert because everyone so opposed to ensminger. Backfired. Now under name of hippo... floating the usf narrative to make ensminger hire look like best alternative. Just make the hire and own it.

USF Recruiting Rankings:

2014 - #42

2015 - #66

2016 - #66

2017 - #76

No wonder Gilbert had a problem with USF's "talent". Too much to work with. Poor guy was overwhelmed!!!!!!!!

Sounds like when someone doesn't want to be at LSU and then all of the sudden he is not as good as he used to be be or outright trash.
