LOL. What strip club scene in Stillwater?
I went to the Dragon's Lair one time when I was visiting some buddies there in college. I knew it was going to be a bad idea but it was worse than I could've imagined

What I remember most is him being the quarterback of the team that hosted the greatest college football player I’ve ever seen.

He feels like the kind of guy to ride off into an early retirement. I doubt he coaches again

He was born and grew up an hour from OSU
He played at OSU
31 of his 36 years in coaching were at OSU
Not saying he couldn't elevate a G5 program somewhere, but he's a Stillwater man. Could he recruit well in foreign lands? Would he want to permanently uproot essentially for the first time at 58, sitting on all that $$$?
He'd probably be a great TV personality but he's a big hunter and might prefer to spend those fall weekends in a stand with the boys

I think he'd be a great studio guy.
He was outstanding on the coaches cam or what ESPN used to call the simulcast they did with various head coaches during the national championship.

This. T Boone was throwing a lot of money into the program and during that time OSU got a lot better. After he died you started to see a marked drop off.
