From the Mizzou perspective, everyone is dead set on the SEC now. There's a small faction that wants the Big 10 still, but they wont put up much of a fight if we end up with you. Everyone is sick of the Big 12 and has been convinced the SEC is where we need to be.
If we remain in the Big 12, I can guarantee you people will be fired.

Mizzou to the east is the only logical move, if this happens.

Agreed. And no one on our side wants to complicate things. Move us to the east and keep as many things in tact as possible. Let Arky be our cross-rival and let's make this conference even better.

No offence, but Mizzou's first choice was the Big10 over the SEC. I don't know why but this chaps my arse a little bit, and makes me want WV because they want SEC more than anything.

I can't blame you for feeling that way. But our fanbase is demanding the SEC. Like I said, if we end up in the Big 12 instead of with you guys, people will resign or lose their jobs.
And to those who say we'd bolt for the Big 10... Once we're in a stable conference and making some good money, we're staying put. We are not going to go through this again. Our curators wouldn't allow it.

Barnhart was on Finebaum earlier has said he is hearing Missouri is currently the only remaining Big 12 school to NOT sign the agreement.
Mizzou is hoping to join the big ten so I'm not surprised they haven't signed it. With the big east options closing for the big ten I think Mizzou is thinking big ten will eventually open up to them.

I don't normally post anything so flimsy as this, but here goes. Heard from someone who is good friends with a Mizzou Curator. Your BOC is ready to move South IF Mizzou gets a solid invitation from the SEC and IF your Chancellor will take a dump or get off the pot. Take this for what it's worth.

Why do you and Chicken want Mo in the East for scheduling purposes? I hate queer geography conferences and divisions.
And have preference of hardware(IE a fair schedule..that LSU doesn't have..and has cost LSU trips to Atlanta), in contrast to the LSU fans that want Fla as permanent foe to humor and justify their season tix prices..and Miles, Alleva, Vincent, Bahnson, Ausberry, etc..all have stated a want away from Fla as permanent..it's unjust.
Geographically, Auburn is further Eastern Division than is Vandy as current, if add TAM and Mo..Aubie's gotta go..East!
And Aubie's two Jays..Gogue and Jacobs seem to recognize a chance to get out from Big Brother's shadow, even if losing possibly the permanence of their annual Iron Bowl, especially with a liberating BCS crown and expan$ion in-tow..
Mo and LSU and Aub..one too many Tigers in the same division!

Got this tweet earlier...
Clearly the push from the fans is making an impact on MU's administration. Not even Deaton can ignore it.

OkSt Pres Hargis on radio at halftime: spoke to Deaton, lots of (MU) fans are enamored with SEC, they're looking for a home that's stable

I don't want the iron bowl moved from the last game of the year. I don't want to lose the Tennessee game. And I want AU and LSU to play every year.
