48-7, actually. LSU was clearly head and shoulders above the rest of college fb in the 1st half of the 2007.
That isn't VTech's fault. VT is a very good football program.

That's right. I forgot VT flew down the field one time and scored. I just remember Frank Beamer saying, after the game, something to the effect that "well, they really laid one on us, didn't they?" And they did.

Well... you beat us in Baton Rouge, but it took every last beat of effort and some balls of steel from Les Miles. You were not "head and shoulders" above UF in early October. And we weren't all that good in 2007.

There is a reason why ESPN asks them not to schedule big games on Saturdays. Lane Stadium might be loud, but from first hand experience their game day atmosphere is a joke. A bunch of people drink beers outside of their cars in the parking lots for an hour before the game.
Schools that try to hype up Thursday night instead of Saturday = jokes.
