Texas A&M v LSU series history

Intereting tidbit about the LSU v A&M series: LSU has played A&M more often (50 games; LSU leads 27-20-3) than UGa, Tenn, Vandy, USCe AND Auburn. This is a built-in rivalry with tons of history to go along with it. We've also played Arky just 4 or 5 times mores than A&M.

A&M has played Arkansas 66 times.(23-40-3) LSU has played Arkansas 55 times.(33-20-2) This site has the LSU/A&M number of games at 49.(27-19-3) So yes, that's fairly close. I don't know which stat is correct. Regardless, that's quite a lengthy history of non-conference games with A&M.

your link is incorrect, LSU played A&M in the 19th century

I really enjoyed the A&M series when I was a child. I can't wait to resume that rivalry,

the LSU fanbase over 40 years of age considers A&M more of a rival than Arky
I am in that number FWIW. And I would say that A&M'ers feel the same way about LSU over Arky in a big way

LSU-aTm is a natural rivalry on a lot of levels.

My favorite games as a student at A&M in the early 90's where against LSU. To say I'm excited to potentially renew the series is an understatement!

Im the same way, Im in theover 40 crowd . As a matter of fact close to the 50 year old crowd. Always enjoyed playing the Aggies we are both A@M universities and natural rivalries. Lets get it on.
