I'm pretty much open to any genre. Just need something that's interesting and will help keep me awake on this long trip. I have an Amazon Audible account so I will be making the purchase on there. Thanks in advance.

There are two old radio comedies that I listen to all the time at work that would be great for a road trip. The Great Gildersleeve and The Phil Harris/Alice Faye show.
You can get both for free on archive.com and a bunch of other sites.
Hollywood and Crime is a great podcast that has several seasons that you can download for free. It's not an audio book but it's pretty similar to listening to a really good one.

I really enjoyed project Hail Mary by Andy weir. He wrote the Martian if you aren’t familiar with him.

Not really a book, but a collection of short stories.
Meateater's Close Calls.
It's 16 different stories of people describing when they had a close call with death while in the outdoors. It's very well done and it keeps you on the edge of your seat.

American Desperado 16 hours and it hooked me pretty early on.
One of a Kind (about Stu Ungar)
In the Red Clay (Podcast about Dixie Mafia that was really good)
The Guilty by James Patterson was surprisingly good.

I prefer nonfiction for long road trips.
Empire of the Summer Moon I believe is available on audio and is fantastic - about the rise and fall of the Commanche

Good pick! You’ll find that the audio quality is quite good too. Very well done.
