Just as Sean Payton told Mickey Loomis what to do.

It’s not a horrible move

with keeping the rest of our staff intact

And keeping Pete Carmichael as OC and play caller.

Sean Payton will sit out one year and figure out his best spot to land.

We will get next to nothing for him, because he will tell Mickey Loomis what to do

So he doesn’t hurt his opportunity with his new team….(Dallas, San Diego)

The good news is

Sean Payton will never win another SuperBowl

Good riddance, egotistical a-hole.

Amazing you have such ability to read the crystal ball considering you pulled it out of your arse.

16 years in the city of New Orleans. I don't blame him for leaving.

But if it isn’t Allen, does he leave?

I hope not.

I would love him and most of the staff to stay.

I’m just not excited about the rest of the coaches left on the list.

If it's a defensive coach? Yeah I doubt he stays for that. The guy made the greatest QB in history his whipping boy since he came to the NFC South. What could anyone tell him about running a defense? Now an offensive coach? He would probably stay on if they ask him to.

I think he leaves if he doesn’t get the head job, personally. He’s made it known he wants to be coach again somewhere

I don’t have a crystal ball.

I just read between the lines based on facts.

Many on this board have an intense dislike for many of my posts.

I have yet to see anybody refute the facts that I post.

I had the same thought but then someone brought up, where would he go? He's not getting interviews. why would he leave for another DC job.

I think one way or the other Allen is on the staff next year.

Depends on how upset he would be about being passed over.

I do not know DA personality or his career desires but I do think any normal person in his position would leave.

He has checked all the boxes for being a more than competent DC and if your own organizations does not believe in you to move up then that is not an organization anyone could stay with. It is the clearest sign that the organization does not have belief in your ability to do more than what you are doing and staying in that environment is a career killer.

Being passed over in his situation would also affect his respect and credibility as DC with his players. If your own organization does not believe in you then why would any other organization want to give you serious consideration. He would have to leave for his own sanity and career or stay and be a punching bag.

im not as extremely negative on SP like some here, but he did make some crucial bad play calls in games that would have changed this franchise's fortune the past few years.

Im all aboard DA for now. Its up to ML to get the roster set to contend.

Agree, it has to be Allen to keep the staff together. I believe the majority agree that Thomas needs to go as well.

Sorry to disagree

But it’s up to Dennis Allen and Jeff Ireland to get the roster set to contend.

It’s up to Mickey Loomis to deal with the salary cap

And collect a ginormous pay check.
