Anyone want to share Positive Disney memories?

Sorry but this is a long post. NSFADD
As I read all of the negative threads on Disney World I can’t help but be sad. When my daughter was younger we were in the yearly Disney trip group and always had amazing vacations. We haven’t been in a few years but looked forward to taking grandkids one day, hopefully it will fixed by then.
Every trip we had so many little things that were great. I feel bad for the people going now that look forward to making special memories and leave disappointed. Walt must be looking down heartbroken.
We were family of the day at Epcot once. My daughter got to help do the opening countdown etc and pictures with the Test Track crash test dummies and they gave us a head start into the park. She thought it was great and couldn’t stop talking about it.
We were eating lunch at the Plaza on Mainstreet and it was my daughters birthday. The Mayor of Mainstreet came into the restaurant and called out my daughter to the front of the restaurant and went into a huge speech about my daughter and her birthday. It concluded with him naming her Jr. Mayor of Mainstreet and give her a Jr Mayor pin and everyone singing her Happy Birthday. He also presented her with a paper FastPass good at any ride at any time and they gave her a Birthday cake. We also have some great pictures of her and the Mayor doing the Nixon “V” for victory pose. We thought the FastPass was good for only one ride but it the workers gave it back to us every time so we rode FastPass all day.
The first time we went to the Magic Kingdom my daughter was super excited about seeing the Mainstreet Parade and was dancing and basically just acting crazy pumped. All of a sudden one of the parade walkers invites her out into the parade and had her dance and hold the banner and just took her on the parade route. My wife and I followed to the end of Mainstreet where the parade ends, and the floats and people go behind the scenes. We thought that was it and were thanking the lady for making our daughter’s day when about 20 of the parade dancers came back out and they had a dance session with my daughter. They spent about 10 minutes dancing and interacting with her and gave her a button naming her part of the Mainstreet Parade crew. I’ll never forget they had an older black lady in the group dancing the Robot, it was awesome.
We caved and did the Bippity Boppity Boutique for my daughter. It’s basically a over priced hair gel application but my daughter got to experience the pampering and was able to walk around dressed like Aurora all day. Every single park worker we were around for the day made it a point to treat her like a Princess. They really did go above and beyond in so many little ways. We even were upgraded to Fast Pass a few times while waiting. She had a ball with all of the attention.
On the last day of one trip we were at Epcot and before heading home my daughter desperately wanted to ride Test Track one last time. We went over and the ride was backed up to a 3 hour wait even the Fast Pass was about an hour and a half. There was an attendant walking down the line and apologizing and explain that the ride had broken earlier and they were swamped trying to clear the backlog. It was hot that day and with the like stretching far outside tempers were flaring. When the attendant got to us my daughter apologized to her for everyone being so mean to her. They started to talk and my daughter explained how it was her favorite ride and was worth the wait since we were leaving and heading home after this last ride. She also said she hoped we wouldn’t be put in a car with people who do stupid poses for the camera because she wanted a good picture and people always ruined it. The attendant then told us to come with her and took us to a door on the side. We walked through some halls and through another door where we come out on the loading dock. She stopped the line and loaded us on the next car and told my daughter she hoped she got a great picture. My daughter talked about if for the entire ride home.
Those were just some of the great memories we have of Disney. Trips there really use to be special. I never saw any trash and the parks were basically just like you would think Walt would have had them. I hope future generations have the opportunity to experience the parks how they were meant to be.
Anyone else have any GOOD memories they would like to share?

First day of the trip, some trash human managed to cough directly in my mouth from about 2 feet away. Took the whole family down by the end of the trip.
Memories.
Memories.

Leaving was pretty great

For what it’s worth, I was pretty damn happy when I found beer in the Magic Kingdom. I’ve never been more willing to pay $12 for a Sam Adams.

I got nothing. Never been, it always seemed dumb asf to me. Most of the movies suck and the corporation is greedy and woke, a terrible combination. A trash company with mostly trash fans. frick Mickey and Walt was probably a Nazi.

Minnie touched me in my naughty places and I got a funny feeling in my tummy.

As a kid, I became separated from my family in the Magic Kingdom. My grandmother wrote on my arm my parents name, and hotel we we’re staying. . .
As you can tell, this wasn’t the first time I would slip away and make my parents age my 10 years in a day.

The Disney Cruise was top notch. No casino, but otherwise very good.

When I was like 7, my Dad lied to me and my sister saying that he was going to Europe for a month and he wanted all of us to escort him to the airport since he wanted to spend as much time with us as possible. This was before 9/11 where you weren’t required to have a ticket to go through security. Turns out he was taking us to Disney World for the week, and my sister and I went nuts screaming in the airport. Very happy memory.

From 2015-2019 we had 3 years where we had annual passes for Florida residents. We’d go probably 6-10x a year just for half a day to a day or so. Never stressed about cramming too much in. We’d take the kids individually and together. They had a great time and it was really affordable as Florida residents. I disagree with those who say wait until they’re older. They had an absolute ball as 3-4 year olds.

I made out with a girl, who I met at the Magic Kingdom, from Kissimmee, on Mr Toad's Wild Ride when I was fifteen.

My family has gone to Disney at least once a year for the last 5 years. The experience is overwhelming positive. Everyone complaining on here either doesn’t know how to plan the trip in order to avoid lines and get the most out of it, or doesn’t want to be there in the first place which is their own fault.
There are websites that will give you historical busy/not busy days. Apps that have real time reports for line times. Also use some common sense. Go to MK on a weekday, Epcot and AK on the weekends. Stay on property or at an affiliate hotel to get in early.
It’s not rocket science, but people are inflexible or uninformed which leads to long waits -> complaining kids -> irritated parents -> bad experience.
