Got an e-mail from my lawn guy this morning informing me of a 15% increase in his monthly bill due to the rising costs of fuel and service costs. Bummer.

He also just bought a brand new F-350 Platinum and paint matched trailer.

But it’s still worth every penny!

What? What's your point? The costs of fuel have risen...and will cost him more to provide lawn services. What does his truck purchase matter?

Ask him why he hates Ukraine and is unwilling to sacrifice for them.

Find another lawn service that invests in tools and people, not in toys.

Then again, 15% isn't really all that much.

Well, tell him you noticed his $90k pickup truck and you don't like how he's chosing to run his business, and hire somebody else.

Hank Hill would be ashamed of you - cut your own grass like a man.

If he is putting the burden of rising fuel and service costs on his customers, then its a bad look to buy a new $80,000 gas guzzling vehicle.

You’re probably the same guy who would never hire a lawn guy with an older truck because you think he isn’t very successful.

I'm waiting for this same communication. It's been the same price for 10 years.

Yeah this guy is going to regret the revolutionary idea of passing rising costs onto his customers.

No it is not. How another man spends his money is none of his business. If he doesn't like it he can cut his own damn grass.

Especially when he has complete control and clairvoyance of the fuel markets.

Well, since OP is doing business with the guy in question, he can reasonably make the decision to not do business with this guy anymore, since he is making stupid business decisions.
