Who cares what the players think of each other?
How many times have you seen Phil signing autographs compared to Eldrick? Phil has given way more time to the fans at events than Tiger has and it isn’t close at all.

My enjoyment of golf on TV is much more related to spectators shots and excitement etc, and there is almost 0.00% devoted to whether I got a signature from them.

Who cares what the players think of each other?
I think knowing a player is actually liked by those around then speaks more to their character than cheesing a smile and scribbling some letters on paper. Either way who really cares?

Tiger modeled his career after Jack, and if you ask the folks who were around when Jack was young will tell you that he was kind of a prick when he was early in his career.
Phil modeled his career after Arnie, and it shows. He even took Arnie's advice when he was young about signing autographs and making sure that every autograph that he signs is clearly readable as his name.
I don't have any sort strong feelings about either player, as I don't personally know either of them. All I can say is that you can't go by what you hear. Nick Faldo is and was known as being one of the more unlikable players out there. I met him when I was in high school at the US open back in '94 and he was one of the nicest players I have ever met. He chatted with me and my father for nearly a half hour. He even went so far as to give us some game management and swing tips. Next to the time I met Jaromir Jagr, it was the best run-in with an athlete I've ever had. Side note, if you meet him, Jaromir Jagr is pretty amazing to hang out with, I highly recommend chatting him up if you ever happen to run into him.
Long story short, they're human beings and your mileage may vary from day to day and person to person.

Then why not use a picture of Phil as your avy and not the shittiest of humans possible?? the optics of the media (yes even golf media) are a hell of a drug. the way someone is painted is a strict reaction of something you heard once that you didn't like. If you think that Phil has out given to the masses, you are surely mistaken just by the size and gravity that tigers charities (yes that is plural) have given to anyone who served in the military / physical impairment and many others.
frick your ball signing and give me something with some substance behind it. Phil has a charity or two but does not use his platform to raise awareness for anytihng other that "HIS" ailments...Didn't he have arthritis or something?
