Don't bring your kids to Home Depot!!
KATC Added:
Acadia Parish
from WBRZ
The following schools will be closed Tuesday, March 22, due to inclement weather:
Iberville Parish schools
Pointe Coupee Parish schools
St. James Parish schools
Livingston Parish schools
Central Community school system

Jeff Davis Parish Schools and Calcasieu Parish Schools will be closed on Tuesday.
Officials say there will be no virtual school; school will just be closed tomorrow because of the potential of bad weather.

I always felt like with school closings, you're damned if you do. Damned if you don't.

Pretty much. People will always bitch and moan about the closures but God forbid a serious tornado hit a school with children in it. Sounds like parent’s worst nightmare.

Livingston, Iberville and St James now too

10 corridor and points southward arent even really in the high risk area
Might as well cancel the entire state if they are cancelling in LC

They are probably safer in school than in trailers which a lot of people in LC live in

Lol …Freaking earth could have split open and swallowed up half of south Louisiana in the 1980’s and my High School and LSU would have stayed open. They close down for shite that might happen today.

Squall line wont be fricking around and will time out with schools getting out east of BR/Morgan City. So anything east of there, I get it.
Lake Charles? That's a bit much.

It’s always a domino effect with shite like this, nobody wants to be the one parish to stay open then have it be a bad call
Posted on 3/21/22 at 3:30 pm to fatboydave
This is fricking retarded. Who the hell is running schools these days?

St. Tammany will make a decision to close at 6:45 tomorrow morning just after the bus takes your kid away.

These kids will not have any good stories, like walking to school in the snow/Hurricanes, uphill both ways, like their ancestors,,,,, soft!
