Tom Brady was out for 15 games in 2008, yet the Patriots went 11-5 and missed the playoffs?

Matt Cassel played pretty well in his absence, but their defense was (always) solid.

Brady played like a quarter. They had a good defense, OL Welker and Randy Moss. Cassel was a capable bridge QB type as well. Belichick is an all time great coach.

The Patriots offense relied on YAC from WRs. Not the QB to make difficult throws

That was mostly the same roster that had an undefeated regular season the year before. They were absolutely loaded and Cassel didn't screw it up.

Dolphins and Ravens also finished 11-5 in the AFC. Fins had the divisional tie breaker, Ravens the Wild Card tie breaker.

Do you think if Brady was not injured, they could have gone 12-4 or 13-3 and beat the Steelers in the AFC championship?

Easily. Pittsburgh would have had to go to New England, which didn't ever work out well for them in the Brady/Belichick era.

Arizona didn't have the pass rush to bother Brady. New England would have won the Super Bowl that year, IMO.

They were still stacked just about everywhere, plus Matt Cassel was always decent. He ended up going to the Chiefs and making the Pro Bowl.

because the rest of the division they are in are like high school level talent teams, thats a free 8 wins every year, they only needed to win 3 of the other eight games to go 11-5

Are you doing common core math, socialist math, or American government math?

Whomever downvoted me needs to learn to count 3x2 is not 8 divisional wins, unless you do the type math I listed above.

It's the system, the Patriot way. Brady’s nothing without it
