Good old Gus Young Ave.

Although that Jayla store chicken has a legit lunch. Cabbage and sausage, shrimp and okra. Pretty good for the price

Gus Young near North Acadian might be the most sketchy area in BR and that's not a short list

I had to do litter detail on that stretch about 10 years ago. I was very glad that we were under constant police supervision.

Syringes and other obvious drug paraphernalia on every single corner and roadside bench. Piles and piles of beer cans and liquor bottles tossed everywhere. The absolute lack of any pride in the area by those that live there was disgusting.

Prescott and Brookstown could give it a run for it’s money. shite, there’s just so many to choose from.

Convention St. And st. Vincent de Paul always feels like a zombie flick is about to start. Saw a homeless dude carrying a broken machete with a tape handle the other day

And just like that, a used, beat up Honda Accord is at the scene of the shooting, taped off.

Is Brookstown Hardware still open? I used to run parts for a construction company off Plank in college and I drove all over the hood all day long

Subtle “I was sentenced to community service” brag.

I made the mistake of accepting a delivery on 38th just south of Gus Young. It’s a contender for the very worst, but Zion City and parts of the bottoms give it a good run.

Yeah man there's no tip worth that to me. Wait, you probably didn't get a tip anyway

I guess because I grew up off Hooper Road we used to cut down Ford Street all the time so I don't consider it as bad but I'm sure it is now.

The apartments behind Belaire HS were one of the few places that scared me even in broad daylight.

It was a dreadful double (couldn’t see the destination) and the order came from a place that I’m almost positive was a laundering front. Seafood place with a Mexican name both according to Google and the sign out front

Correct, no tip.
However, I really don’t mind going to Southern or various other parts of NBR in the morning. It’s well laid out.

Yeah that was the original part of the city so it's a nice grid unlike SBR being a big patchwork of roads.
