Supposedly there is quotes from Tom Lehman that when him and Phil were partners during the Presidents cup, Phil was betting and checking football lines on his phone during the round and completely out of it golf wise
If that’s true Phil is a true degenerate gambler and may have actual real cash flow issues

Yeah Saudis pure evil China nice and not even close to Saudis when it comes to human rights. Also Shipnuck on and is a total asshat, Faxon and Chamblee also asshats. We here it all the time in other sports how the players are treated like shite by owners. When golfers decide they can get better pay somewhere other than the PGA well they are assholes and have no morals. I might not even watch this shitshow this week.

It's unfathomable that a guy that has made 900 million in his lifetime has gotten himself in debt, if true.
The Tour has a lot of great role models and young guys coming into its own, it will be fine.
The Course itself looks to be in perfect shape.
7500 yards and a Par 70, it's going to be great.

That doesn’t tell me shite, they probably don’t like Phil most pros don’t. However if the Saudis offered him 130 million ,which is the number I saw, why the hell would they be pissed at Phil for taking the cash? It’s no different than free agency in other sports you usually go,with the money.

Was awesome to listen to. The writer from Europe (Ken Scofield?) tore Phil and G Norman up.
While he is immensely talented on the course. I am not a Phil fan and it was just a matter of time until it all came out. He has always thought he was the smartest guy in the room. Phil viewed the LIV tour money grab. As Phil stated money ranks 1st, 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th in importance.

I think there's a good chance Phil already took the $100M+ and "cashed the check." He might not have a choice but to do whatever the Saudis tell him to do at this point.

I don’t blame him if he did. I don’t understand why Golf Channel et. al. give a shite either. They are trying to destroy Phil for taking it. Meanwhile the NBA is owned by China.

Used to really enjoy watching the Golf Channel. But after the reorganization not too long ago, it's gotten progressively worse, and I really don't watch it much anymore.
Golf Channel is definitely the mouthpiece for the PGA Tour on the LIV subject.

It seems like LIV is being set up with the attention of attracting betting, which drives ratings in sports. Not good for the golf channel ratings
