Vacuum sealer recs, please

Mrs. Dogg is getting me a new sealer. I use a cheap one religiously at home and it’s time for an upgrade. Reviews are throwing me off so far because the negatives stick to me. I don’t know much about the chamber-style sealers, but I’m intrigued. I freeze a lot of soupy/saucy/liquid items. My process usually involves par-freezing first, but I forget half the time and end up with a misshapen mess. So I want something that will vacuum food in any state of matter. I also want something easy to pull out, use, and put away. And something that uses universal bags. And something that removes all the air all the time. Budget ~$600 but preferably less.

If you do a bunch of liquids you want a chamber sealer type machine. VacMaster is a good brand.

If you are going with a baller budget get a chamber sealer.
If you want to get a good sealer on a budget get an original tilia foodsaver that was made in Italy. You can still get parts for it and it is way better than anything with foodsaver written on it today.

Get you the chamber vac
there was a thread about this a few months back, and a few people suggested a chamber vac around the $500 mark. Maybe it was this one, but I think it was a different brand. I meant to bookmark that thread for when I will be in the market for one, so I hope they chime in again on this one. I'm going to be looking soon.

Definitely go chamber. Worth the extra money just for the cost/time savings in buying pre-cut bags. Don’t have to, but if you do a lot of soups and want to reheat sous vide style I’d recommend the 4 mil bags. I added a link to the one I have, at the time Newegg was the cheapest price but doesn’t seem that way anymore. I’ve done 50 turkey breasts a night to 1k rounds of ammo in mine and never checked up.
