Dynasty League. Get to keep 3 players. 3 year max, then they go back in the pool. Currently standard, but league vote is moving to PPR. Start 3 WRs. 2 RBs. No flex.

Got 1 year left with Henry. Also, have the #1 pick in the draft. The league hasn't throw everyone back. That's by next Saturday. My keepers currently would be Henry, N. Harris and Pittman. Probably throwing L. Jackson back in the pool.

Currently, however, top picks available to draft are Kelce, Barkley, A. Jones, Mahomes.

So, I have to decide on my first pick anyway. Probably Kelce.

Almost feel like offering the #2 pick Henry for his #2 pick, plus some improved future picks, and selecting A. Jones, which I'd get for 3 years. So, draft would start with Kelce, Jones. Would already have Harris and Pittman.

Good or dumb idea? Thanks!

Who is #2 likely to keep? It’s a nice plan, but I’m skeptical they’ll want to do it unless henry is a massive upgrade at one of their keeper spots

Thanks for the reply. He's light at RB, pretty strong at WR and TE.

His top players would be Murray, Zeke, Chase, AJ Brown, Jeudy and Waller.

If I were #2, I'd keep Chase, then, maybe Zeke or Waller. I'd certainly want A. Jones or Barkley at #2.

Maybe #2 for Henry for a year would be of interest. I'm just thinking 3 years of A. Jones, Mahomes etc. might improve the team.

It’s not a terrible idea. Henry has had insane usage over the last few years and now has the big injury. He’s also not getting any younger. He’s a freak of nature but the decline will likely come quick when that giant body starts to break down and lose a step.

The counter argument would be he’d still be a solid bruiser even when he’s not breaking off the big ones after contact when his speed goes.

I’m not sure if I’d trade him for A Jones though. He’s nearing the breakdown age too.
