Adam Scott was a Titleist guy for ever. Muria isn't a name brand. Big news

Miura? Very well known.

Remember who you're talking to.

I’ve hit Miuras before. They are really nice, but I would rather a Srixon.
Obviously, I would rather a Sub70

I understand. But they aren't a name brand manufacturer. They're a relatively small Japanese company not throwing around sponsorship money. 99% of Tour players are playing Calloway, Titleist, TM, etc.
He's almost certainly playing these for no money

A lot of great players in modern history like Tiger played Muria blanks at one time or another.
They might be stamped a brand name.

For a long time, Miura was doing a large portion of the forgings for tour players under contract with the big name brands.
Manufacturers have since gone another way for the most part. But Miura is held in very high regards amongst club manufacturers and low cap players.

Ancer was playing Muria too. Think he signed with Callaway now.

He still plays their irons. But, Scott’s been having this Muria irons in his bag for a while. They’re blanks with his logo on them. Very very nice though.

Muria wedges are the softest I've ever hit.

You’ll be back once your honeymoon phase is over.

Jack Nicklaus, Tiger, Adam Scott, probably Justin Thomas, Phil and Francesco Molinari...all of these played Miura blades specifically forged by Miura on behalf of Titleist, Nike, Callaway, and MacGregor.

Phil may have played Miura at some point but for the most part, I believe Callaway and Mizuno relied heavily on Endo doing their forgings back in the day.
For the longest time, it was Endo/Miura that controlled the vast majority of that market.

Who makes my G425s?
Ping uses a casting company in Vietnam.
Phil played Pings in College and for his first Tour win.
Then he signed with Yonex, then on to Titleist and finally Callaway.
Currently without a sponsor.
