Black students also more likely to attend historically black colleges.

Maybe..graduate if you are going to go to college.
Maybe..it’s the cost of college education (especially private ones) and people attending with no actual career path that is the real problem.
Let colleges charge what they want but don’t allow unlimited loans.

Was 20 years ago but tons of guys from really shitty parts of Cleveland, Detroit and Chicago were at BG “just to get away for awhile” with no real career intentions. Looks like that isn’t changed.

Need to get the government out of the student loan business. They hand them out like candy with no consideration to what the student’s future earning potential will be. So we end up with kids that graduate with debts that they have no way of ever paying back because they have a degree in some liberal arts bullshite that doesn’t translate into anything useful in the workforce. Six figure student loans should be reserved for students on a path to law school, med school, or some high paying STEM careers since those students will actually have the means to repay big loan debts at some point

Companies fall over themselves to hire blacks. Get paid a premium for just showing up. Blacks defaulting is on them not caring about paying the debt back. And whitey is going to keep bailing them out, while they continue to publicly hate whitey.

I say the Fedgov should rip the money out of universities to payback all student loan debt. We make academia pay it back with thier salaries, pensions, benefits, and every other bit of stupid and unnecessary shite they spend money on and then start firing professors that teach courses that aren't necessary.
Doing this would destroy the strongest pillar of the Left and Republicans should definitely be on board with it

Student loans are the biggest predatory lending scam in the history of the world.
Sadly the high schools all the way to colleges and the government all sell the lie that any college degree is valuable when that is not the case.

That's default rates...not who's hit the hardest with debt. Paying your bills in this study, unfortunately, is not spun as responsibility.

Let colleges loan the money. That way, if students bail, then the school has an issue as well. Currently, they are insulated from the process. My guess is that they tighten up enrollment. Additionally, School Performance Scores derived from job placement and longevity of employment will be given. If your students don’t find success in life, then your school did a poor job in terms of preparation. High schools get dinged for low ACT / SAT scores etc. this would be an extension of expectations. If you choose to go to a shitty school, then that’s on you.

As for current loans that are outstanding,
I say seize their endowments of the universities nationwide and pay off the debt. Let the Marxist professors eat shite as those in debt are helped out (even though it is their own damn fault).
As for those of us that were responsible, you would get a tax credit of $2500 per year for 5 years for an Associates, 10 for a Bachelors, 15 for a Masters, and 20 for a Doctorate.
Your responsibility should be rewarded. Period.
