Who is your pick for this week's net championship?

I'll take Xander. He's won the gross division twice and starts the week only 4 back.
frick LIV, they do shotgun starts, but 29 man flighted fields for the Tour Championship really gets me fired up.
The winner this week will recieve 38 World Ranking Points, nearly double what Tony Finau won at the 3M this year

There’s a lot of dumb back and forth with this liv pga stuff and so much bs talked about the pga tour that’s just asinine. But the way this finale is setup is just beyond dumb. I’m not sure what the solution is but This isn’t it. I’d almost want them to change this tournament to a match play even with seedings. 1 vs 30 and so on and so forth. Giving someone a gifted lead is justy dumb imo. With that being said, I’d watch this 10 times out of 10 over anything liv offers.

They should just set it up like a normal tournament with a slightly elevated purse with like $5M to the winner.
The rest of the money should be distributed to players ranked 1-30 based on their standings headed into this week. That way someone like Zalatoris doesn’t get absolutely hosed.

It's a boring tournament on a boring golf course. It should be your second biggest event of the year behind the Players and you play a net championship in swamp arse Atlanta in August.

I heard an interesting idea on the radio. For the tour championship play 2 rounds stroke play. The top four after the first 2 rounds plays match play over the next 2 days. The remaining 26 continue to play stroke play for the remainder of the money. The winner of the stroke play would still get $4M fifth place money so it will be worth them playing for.

Those that think this tournament is so boring, what are you watching it ?

It supposed to be the culmination of their season long run to a championship. The Players is the flagship regular event and the Tour Championship brings the entire season to conclusion. It's not really a novel concept.
The majors aren't run by the Tour so I'm not counting them

The tour championship is one of the worst events on one of the most boring courses in the hottest part of the year.

I'll watch college football week zero if the tournament is over Friday night like it will be if scheffler plays well.
If it's close on Sunday I'll turn it on. Doesn't mean that the event shouldn't be improved.
