He seems more questionable than the CB.

From Norvell today

Wilson appeared to suffer a lower-leg injury in the first quarter against Duquesne as he got twisted up with a defensive back on a 51-yard completion downfield. Wilson was limping after the catch, went to the injury tent for at least several minutes after the series, and came out with his lower leg/ankle area taped up. He appeared to try and loosen it up by jogging and jumping on the sideline, but did not return to the game. Norvell said after the contest that FSU would evaluate the injury on Sunday, but noted that the receiver did look “ginger” after the play.

On Monday, Norvell noted that Wilson wanted to re-enter the contest but said that FSU opted to keep him from returning. The Seminoles seemingly didn’t want to risk further aggravation after building an early three-score lead at the time of Wilson’s injury.

“He was feeling definitely better yesterday,” Norvell said. “And it was one of those things in the game that was close to see whether or not, he wanted to get back in there. He was definitely moving around pretty well, but obviously we held him for the rest of the game. Yesterday was a normal day after a game where you’re a little banged up, but I’m excited to see how the progression of that goes.”

As for Cooper, he was not dressed out for Saturday’s contest, but was with the team on the sideline. He did have a slight limp when jogging across the field at one point. FSU is optimistic that its starting corner will return this week, Norvell stated previously. Fuller shared on Monday that Cooper is working diligently to get back in the mix for the prime-time contest against LSU.

“If we put him out there, Duke will be ready,” Fuller said Monday. “He was out there last night moving around. Duke did everything he could to play in that game (Duquesne), it hurt him, but I told him ‘you try to get ready and it’s going to be my decision, not yours.’

Serves them right for scheduling a week zero game before the season opener.

So we really don't have a WR1. Was hoping he could be that guy this year after transferring in this year. Great size good speed but wasn't consistently catching the football in spring.

Actually what would probably considered our #1 returning WR pokie Wilson did not dress Saturday either. No word on really why or if he will be available for the game against you guys. He's gone 78 for 1026 and 8 in his first 3 years.

So like 300 yards a season? Boutte has done that in one game. I’m unimpressed

No doubt. Every Nole fan will flat out admit your WRs scare us more then really any part of your squad.

While we’re at it, I’m also unimpressed by 3 running backs runny for over 100 yards last week. You know they aren’t all NFL caliber backs, so it just proves anyone could do it against that squad

Don't think rushing for 100 yards against Duquesne requires NFL type talent.

Remember when UNC had 20 players out and it took a goal line stand to beat them?
