Pelley informed the players that they "will not be required to play in the Wednesday Pro-Am and out of respect for our partners, our broadcasters and your fellow competitors, we would kindly ask you to consider not wearing LIV Golf-branded apparel during your participation at Wentworth."

Aren't they required to wear LIV apparel while they golf? This could be interesting.

Sounds like they were asked not to wear LIV apparel, not mandated they couldn't. My guess, they still wear LIV apparel. I doubt any enforcement of a rule like that would even be possible, especially given the arbitration ruling in the UK with respect to the DP World Tour's suspension and fines of LIV players

I changed it. I guess the LIV players have no choice but to wear the apparel.

I'm hardly the fashion police, but the only golfer decked out in LIV that I noticed this season was Patrick Reed. I think LIV is probably sponsoring him to wear their stuff exclusively. Stopping that would be like asking Zack Johnson to not wear his John Deere insignia. Ain't gonna happen.

Isn't Adidas about to hit the LIV market?

The only person I've seen wearing LIV stuff outside of LIV is Patrick Reed, the ultimate troll.

What does this even mean? After reading your water temp post on the OT I'm starting to think you might be a bit touched in the head.

It says consider if this an exact quote. Doesn't say you have to.

Want to say that I saw there is a clause in their LIV contracts that make them wear the branded apparel while playing

Yeah, I messed the wording up.

The question I have is if the palyers must wear LIV apparel does mean they can't wear their own logos on the LIV shirts and hats?
