Any good recommendations for a murder mystery or a sci-fi/fantasy read?

What is the board reading?

7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.

Not sure why this was downvoted. It’s a great mystery book with some paranormal and sci fi elements to it.

I'm currently reading the mistborn series but Brandon Sanderson. It's great

I also loved King Killer Chronicals by Rothfuss

The first law by Joe Abercrombie

The Cartographers by Peng Shepherd. Murder mystery with fantasy elements.

And I second the post about 7-1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. What a trippy page-turner.

Where the Crawdads Sing then watch the movie. As a guy, I thoroughly enjoyed both.

I agree with Where the Crawdads Sing - great book (haven’t seen the movie)

Also The Searcher by Tana French -I just finished it, it’s a little slow at first, but well written

I upvoted all of these. 7 1/2 deaths is my favorite murder mystery (comes with a sci fi spin). Red Rising is my favorite fantasy series. And Crawdads is a solid murder mystery with a movie that follows the books fairly accurately.

Hail Mary was a LOT of fun. Loved the adventure and the Martian feel to it. ANDY did it again
