No more Hatch, please

I'd rather play JJ than Hatch.

Not that I'm advocating we start Hatch...but what's with the Hatch hate? He's only come in and made some plays for us this year..Especially in the past 2 games.

What he got? When he's in, we're one dimensional . That sucks.

I say live. But can we start the Alabama game with a 40-50 pass play. If we get intercepted we might be able to stop them from running it back.

I think Hannigriff and Rush put it best last night. Lee has looked good when he HAS to. Last night he didn't give up, the coaches are letting him play and taking him out at times to keep him from melting down. The Hatch deal is ok BUT I agreed with them, we totally wasted a drive in the 4th with him. He's a good change of pace guy BUT Lee is the future of the program. Yeah he threw 2 picks but that's just part of it. REALLY who else do we have? Rush said he expected JJ to be in Hatch's role this year but obviously it isn't happening, the redshirt deal is final and we're playing through Lee's youth.

Yes he's not as good of a passer but did you not watch the past 2 games? He made a couple big throws...

I agree with the big pass. Risky with a young QB? Yes BUT all these screens and shite are just as bad. INT on a screen or other short dump off is risky as hell. It'll usually be a TD return or close to it...as we've seen.

Hatch can still get 10% of the snaps. Fine by me.

we just NEED Lee to get over this learning curve where he starts going through progressions and stops preconceiving his throws.

Hatch runs the option lousy, he should kick out to the RB immediately, instaed he keeps it and is hit immediately

lee = hot garbage. by the way he threw 3 picks not 2. i know he's young but right now he's looking real bad,and as far as the future of the program we'll just have to see. i hope he gets it together but he's just not there yet.

Regarding Hatch, I think in the 2nd Qtr he ran the option to the wide side of the field. There was ONE defender who on Hatch and KW. If Hatch had turned up field, he would have made the tackle. Hatch pitched and the defender knocked KW out of bounds for a loss or no gain.

I think that's the first time in my life I've seen one defender successfully cover both sides of an option by himself.

That's what they said on Tiger Zone. His medical redshirt has been submitted and is final. Their words not mine.

People not understanding what they see, looking at stats only.

If you watch Lee, he has ALOT of work to do to be servicable. 60% of the time he looks good, 5% of the time great and 35% poor. Mechanics, and other issues are basic skills that need to be corrected, and that doesn't just disappear. LSu is better served running the ball as much as possible, just throwing enough to keep the D honest. Last two games, first pass of the game was a pass. The coaching staff should realize by now that Lee has some inherent weaknesses that they have to work around. Last two games, All Hatch has done is move the football. Not advocating a change in roles, but for THIS season, don't reduce Hatch's playing time. Flame away.
