Herbicide accidentally applied to greens at Ross Bridge

Msn
Cannon said a 1,000-pound bag of a herbicide-fertilizer mixture was wrongly placed alongside other bags containing a green sand mixture that is used as a top dressing on the greens at Ross Bridge. That led to a mix-up two weeks ago that resulted in the herbicide-fertilizer being applied to 14 of the 18 greens instead of the green sand.

Sound like they getting new greens a year earlier than expected

I wish that was the first time that I have heard that same story.
It happens way to often.

I heard they have 3000 pre paid rounds they are trying to reschedule. Ouch.
Plus, Oxmoor Valley, which is owned by RTJ and only a few minutes away, redesigned one of their courses recently and it's a POS. It's a well kept POS, but it's miserable golf.

Yeah the Ridge is still a fun course but nothing compared to Ross Bridge. The Valley has the dumbest par 3 I've ever seen in my life.

Explain this Par 3 that is worse that Oak Knolls blind one with the mirror

I loved Oxmoor. Why would they mess with it?

Dammit.....I’m playing the Valley at 1:40p today. Leaving Pursell Farms here shortly and headed that way.
Wonder if we could move it to the Ridge course.

This par three has 90° angles on every side of the green. Same way for all the bunkers. Everything is squares or rectangles. And then in the very middle of the green there is a 12-15 foot ridge. It's still the putting surface but it's like your standing down in a bunker because you can hardly see over it from the bottom.

I played Oxmoor Ridge last Wednesday and it was great! Fun course and well kept. I played Ross last Thursday for $22.....most beautiful course on the trail.....greens were far from crappy overall but a few on the back were rough. Still rolled fast and true.

22 is a steal even if the greens are half dead
