The Beatles to be on Rock Band

I'm sure it will be similiar to the Guitar Hero Aerosmith game. It won't be available until Xmas 09 though.
I'm still surprised that it happened; they aren't even available for purchase (legally) as mp3s.

EDIT: Looks as if it's not going to be Rock Band, but "much much more than that." Sounds like a load of crap to me; just another rock band version. There is an article on LINK about it. I can't link directly because of some work filters.

The only connection between Rock Band and this game are the companies working on it and its a rythem based game.

It will use the Rock Band Equipment but not be a Rock band game. The Beatles do not fit in with the way the Rock Band game is set up. It will be a game entirley based on their collection of work. It will also use the imagery of their music and movies in the game.
Expect more than just an expansion pack.

How can it use the same instruments, and "not fit in with the Rock Band game"? It's going to be more similar than different.
It may have it's own Beatles theme and some extras, but in the end, the reason of the game stays the same, which is to simulate playing real music.

Quick Note, I know nothing of this game other than what I read on GameSpot and industry experience.
This game and Rock band will be similar, but not so much that it could be called an expansion pack. Think of it like the difference between Madden, NCAA, and AFL. All Football games, all different and wouldnt be called expansion packs of one another.

I know I already have way too many stupid plastic instruments, but it would be nice to get a guitar more in the Beatles line of instruments with this game
