quality of the South endzone compared to the rest of the stadium?

I was given south endzone tix to UAB. Sight lines aside, how does it stack up with the rest of the stadium? It's been 15 years since I've sat there. I just remember long bathroom lines and a narrow concourse (of course I was never sober back then). I was told it's been updated but I can't find any pics of the updates. I'm taking my son and a couple of his buddies. I'm just hoping I'm not going to spend half the game in line for the bathroom and concessions. TIA

Very poorly designed bathrooms which create unnecessarily long lines at times. Thing's went down hill years ago when the admins decided it would be a wise decision to remove the world famous piss wall from the bathroom at the top of the ramp.

Tons of room space re. bathrooms and concessions
still a great fan experience with the crowd as well

Gotta try the nachos from one of them stands on the bottom. Best in the country hands down

I wouldn't want to be in the lower bowl of any endzone. I'm in the 8th row of the middle deck, perfect height. I can see the other end of the field even when the play is inside the 5 yard line, without having to watch the jumbo trons.

That is where I sit. The bathroom and concession situation has been improved in recent years, at least on ground level. They expanded the concourse by removing the old dorms and it is all open now.

It is and that concrete wall also cut off all airflow. It SUCKS compared to a decade ago.

It’s longer than that if you stay the whole time. I’m still known to drink a few beers before and at the game. Not to mention my kids are young enough that I can’t let them go by themselves. And if you have kids, you know that they don’t schedule or plan their bathroom breaks.

Upper south men’s bathrooms were remodeled a decade or more ago and have sucked ever since. Hardly any lines before the remodel when you pissed on the wall troughs. In the front and out the back before the timeout was over. Now it can be a long wait for a urinal and you miss half a quarter. Stupidest decision ever except for the concession contract from a few years back. The good news is the concessions suck so bad I don’t get drinks anymore and don’t need to piss.

North endzone is still like this. Were you referring to student section side?
