Good boudin in Ascension Parish?

Driving from Geismar to Hammond yesterday on the way home from work I was craving some good boudin.
There used to be a decent place in Sorrento to get some at Duckroost but they have closed.
Anyone know a good place around Sorrento, St Amant or French Settlement to buy some good boudin?
I ended up going to Porky's in Livingston and found some decent boudin balls.

Hebert's in Dutchtown is marginal at best. Bergeron's on Hwy 30 has pretty good smoked boudin.

I here there is a gas station in Sorrento on Airline that is respectable. Otherwise I lived in AP for 20 years and never found anything good.

That is utter bullshite! Bergeron has decent cracklings and good balls/wraps, but their regular and smoked boudin are freaking terrible!
Hebert's boudin is serviceable.
I am from St.Landry Parish, so I admit to being spoiled by great boudin, but Bergeron's is just the worst

Ryan's maybe?
I asked a guy here at work earlier and he mentioned Ryan's.
ETA this Google review I just found: A nice little corner gas station that also functions as a tiny grocery store, on the side of the highway with some of the best damn boudin I've ever had in my life. The smoked boudin is absolutely incredible, I have yet to try any hot lunches. It's an interesting place where you can go pick up some eggs, motor oil, cast iron pan, and some fishing hooks. They got a little bit of everything.

I have not been a fan of much of anything from Bergerons. Maybe a meat pie in a pinch.
Ryan’s on Airline is decent for boudin.

Gonzo’s smokehouse is probably the best. Bergeron’s smoked boudin is alright. I like LeBlanc’s crawfish boudin, but it’s nothing exceptional, it’s just awesomely cheap from Triple S (which has great hogs head cheese btw)
AP ain’t exactly a prime location for boudin.

I find their smoked meats are great, but their boudin isn't fantastic. I go for the chicken patties and smoked chicken thighs.

completely agree
vellions is okay a bit heavy on the liver
D&J grocery...uses Big G's old recipe and it is good, but different
Duckroost in St Amant has a very high rice to meat ratio
Begeron's only went once and it was before they closed and reopened...only link of boudin i have ever taken a bite of and thrown away
Nothing you get over here will be anything like the Gold Standard of Boudin from Scott

You were right there, lol. Good boudin at the Exxon station on Hwy 73 by the interstate next to Burger King.. I think it's called Mission Street Cafe.

Doesn't have liver. Not Boudin.

I pass it everyday and have stopped for breakfast there several times. Never noticed they had boudin.

Where the smoke smell on the foil comes from cigarettes not the meat

For me, I'm nostalgic about Leblanc's boudin because it was a treat I'd buy for myself after school or something cheap that I could grab as a field trip lunch in a pinch. It's not actually all that good, but it's better than most other things you can buy for just $2.

The old Tureau’s / Gill’s grocery store on Hwy 431 has huge boudin balls with a nice crust. Problem is you never know if they will have some made. Their fried fish is good and they have some decent breakfast items.
