Those slimy Argentinans were no better. This whole cup was shady from start to finish. This final was almost a disaster. Luckily the ref evened the situation by giving France a suspect penalty as well.

Man that 1v1 in the 123rd, Mbappe was in for a simple square ball tap in GOAT legendary winner/moment in sports. Instead we get lame arse pens. Such a lame way to end an all-timer.

Deschamps wouldn’t start Pogba anyways. Pogba was in danger of not making the team.
Losing Kante sucked but Tchouameni is a world class player.
Benzema? Did you see France struggle with him on the team in international play? He’s great but he slows them down. They play much faster without him

Nkunku was the other injury. All of their injuries were in the midfield aside from Benzema.
If I’m France I’m sticking with Didier. His adjustments got them back in the game and France could have won. Really they just don’t have a great back line.
