A month ago I would've said Calzaghe. Now I think RJ has a chance.

it's a shame this fight didn't happen earlier... it's a marquee matchup.

i'll take calzaghe by decision

put some cash on Jones. Not a lot, but he has some nice odds as the underdog.

i don't think roy can hold up to calzaghe's stamina and joe will steal the rounds giving him a UD. i'll be rooting for roy, though, and hoping he trained hard enough.

i agree.

i wish calzaghe faught a US boxer in their prime..

i have a little hope for Roy because Hopkins gave Joe one tight arse fight.. and Hopkins was 43 at the time.. Jones is a very smart boxer.. but I hope he doesn't play defense all night.. I'd love to see Jones come out aggressive.

jones just didn't have it in him. You could tell after the second round he couldn't really figure joe's style out and he couldn't get into a groove. Then he got cut and went into defense mode for ~5 rounds. Time for Jones to retire, he looked like an old man.

I didn't watch the fight. I will say that I think Jones' biggest problem as he got older is his fight style. When he was young he was so much quicker then everyone else he could leave his hands down and do all kinds of things without paying a price for it. When he got older and lost that ability he flat out became a much lesser fighter. (I don't follow boxing that much anymore, so pardon me if this is big time common Knowledge.)

Jones should have worried more about technique than taunting.
