Please, for the love of God, no. Just no. I'm not saying it won't rally, but if 2022 didn't teach retail that yolo isn't the way to wealth - then you can almost guarantee 2023 will be painful.

I'd argue that rates hanging out at 5%+ would adversely affect the exact crowd that likely shops at Gamestop the most. The people with car loans, PMI, credit card debt, student loans, etc. are the age category GME targets - probably not the year these folks will be throwing down a ton of discretionary cash. No mention in the article.

I'd argue quite the contrary. When spending tightens, this is affects travel and eating out. Video games are a cheap hobby. $60 a year for xbox live let's you play call of duty warzone for free.

Besides still have lots of business at the retail stores (and being able to close non productive ones because they paid off loans that were preventing them from doing so), the nft marketplace (which is still in Beta) is going to be much more lucrative than the traditional retail part of the company. Almost, money for nothing as the NFT games start coming online.

GameStop will get paid for the transactions and will get original sale and royalties on items they create. They already are.

Basically, if you don't jump on, you will be missing the next apple, microsoft, google, amazon. But, you do you. You probably missed those, too.

I am glad you made money on it, but you really don't know much about the company, do you?

I know a lot about the company. I also know the stock is not a direct reflection of the company, the same issue as when I made money when the stock first squeezed. Now the stock is still a poor reflection, but it’s got a serious bagholder problem and it’s much closer to its actual value than before

No such thing as money for nothing. If GameStop is making near pure profit on the NFT marketplace, competitors will come in and cut their market and force their prices to come down until much of the profit is gone

NFT collecting will continue to dry up as inflation wages war on consumers’ available money. It’ll go the way of crypto - significantly reduced and nowhere near where it was a year ago
