Shreveport police arrested the driver allegedly involved in a hit-and-run wreck that took the lives of a woman and a child.
The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office revealed the woman’s name is Faith Alexander, 31. The child is Amelia Ellis, her 4-year-old daughter.
Terrance Dangerfield, 25, of Shreveport, was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 11 just after 2:30 p.m. at a Raceway gas station less than 24 hours after the woman and child were injured. He is charged with two counts each of negligent homicide and hit-and-run driving. No bond has been set yet.
Around 6:17 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 10., the Shreveport Police Department was called to the Terry Bradshaw Passway at Walker Road. A woman and child were injured in the wreck. Police say the woman was unconscious at the scene.
A Shreveport officer had tried to stop a 2006 Hyundai Sedan; but when the officer activated their lights and sirens to signal for the driver to pull over, the car sped up. It ran a red light at the Walker Road intersection, striking a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu that was legally crossing the intersection, said officials with SPD.
Our good boy has had 7 charges dismissed by the Caddo Parish DA.

Were the fuzz perusing him?

It's right there in the article. They turned their lights on to pull him over and he took off, ran the light, and hit the lady's car.

Attempted Second Degree Murder dismissed?
I mean, revenge porn and weed aren’t the same.

That’s so awesome that the DA dismissed the charges.
Probably just let him 3 good deeds instead

I remember when Southern Hills was a decent place.
The dregs have totally swallowed Shreveport.

Probably because he was outside instead of enjoying A/C inside

I would LOVE to see a law where district attorneys and judges could be found liable for letting criminals go resulting in a later crime. Bet these SOBs would think twice about nonchalantly letting guys out.

So tired of this shite. Pissed.
They keep letting these thugs back on the streets to kill people. They let that thug that killed Rod Bramblett out and he's been arrested again.
The laws suck.
4 years old. Damn. And sadly, we will hear more like it in the future.

And for every bleeding heart liberal who says “we are incarnating too many people” “what if we put the wrong person away for life” etc.
think about how two citizens are now dead because we refuse to lock this guy up and throw away the key when he proved he couldn’t participate/be a productive citizen of this country
we are punishing (and killing) productive citizens at the expense of trying to rehab pieces of shite

I used to think this way, but since then realized we have a lot of people who need locked away from the public or taken out of the population.

At what point is the D.A. held legally liable?
Posted on 1/12/23 at 6:12 pm to TheSadvocate
Well I’ll be damned, would’ve never guessed the perp looks like that!
