That movie was stressful
But definitely different . I don’t think I’ll watch it again but props to them for an original idea

I watched this a few weeks ago great movie but i just realized after watching a roundtable talk with a bunch of actors that the husband in this was the same kid from Indiana Jones and the goonies Short round/Data. I would have never known if not for that video.

It's on showtime. Or if you have prime it's probably only like 3 or $4 to rent.

I watched using a free trial of Showtime

He just won Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes and is looking at an Oscar nomination as well. Incredibly humble guy. If you have 3 mins check out his acceptance speech.

It might be recency bias bc I just watched it a couple of weeks ago but, it was probably my favorite movie of the year.

Worth it for the A24 content alone. I just watched Minari again.

One of the strangest, stressful, insane movies I've watched but loved. The ending was just so emotional

I watched it tonight and thought it was solid but I have to wonder if it could’ve been just as good or better as a short miniseries. At times I felt like I was experiencing overload trying to understand everything, but maybe that’s part of the experiences

Just watched this last night. My wife hated it, but I really enjoyed it.
For better or worse, no one can accuse the filmmakers of phoning this one in and simply trying to reboot an existing IP.

This one and Midsommar are the only A24 movies that I haven't actively hated the entire time the movie was playing.

You hated Ex Machina, the Witch, and A Most Violent Year ??

The Witch was the only of those 3 than I've seen, and yes.

As long as we’re reviving this thread I never would’ve guess the mom was the Bond girl in Tomorrow Never Dies until some interview or article mentioned it.

And Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, obviously.
