Course was closed today so went to have lies and lofts checked.
I have probably played 400+ rounds and practiced with these 2019 PXG 0211 irons.

Guy told me most sets are off a degree or two. The lies were all standard.

The lofts were 2 degrees strong for every club except the lob wedge. but the gaps were 4 degrees so he bent the lob wedge from 60 to 58.

Maybe I can actually use the lob wedge a little more.

How often do you have your clubs checked as far as lofts/lies?

I was bored, and had read an article that said it is useful to check them. Any experiences positive or negative with checking lofts?

I bought a used set that I hit well. Bought another used set I didn't hit well. I took used set 1 to Watts figure out the lie angle and had set 2 bent to that lie angle.

In college I worked at a course that had a machine, so we'd occasionally bend clubs for members or our own clubs. Bent a 60 to a 64 for a couple weeks just for funsies.

Never. My anxiety would go through the roof if I started playing around with it.

I check every season and also each time I get a new set which is every other year. But I get very specific specs from Callaway.

Never played pxg but I know for a fact that if you have titleist irons you can email customer service the serial numbers and they will send you the specs that were laser measured the day they left the factory.

And if for some reason they are out of spec you can mail them back to titleist and they will bend them back to spec, for free.

Grant Horvat had his checked during his TMtting and they were off by 1 degree. Trottie bent them flat and Grant starting flushing them. Made me wonder about getting mine checked
