In defense of indoctrination and grooming

There is this mantra that conservatives like to repeat, "why can't schools just get back to teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic", and teach them a completely unbiased view of history.
Unfortunately that's not the way the world works. Your kids are either going to adopt their values, or your values. There is no in between or middle ground. It's not enough to simply ask for schools and the entertainment industry to take some sort of mythical "neutral" path which is impossible to achieve. We should be actively pushing for the Constitution, and the Christian heritage of this country to be taught and understood. Marxism should he presented as an evil, and taught in depth where it comes from and how to spot it.
Before someone comes and calls me a theocrat, just know that this is what we used to do in this country, and now that we don't just take a look at Gen Z (30% identify as LGBT and over 50% have a mental illness)

More kids should be homeschooled.

That's where you lose the conservative movement. They don't have the will to use force or have the moral authority in their beliefs. Which is why you see the "right" now fully onboard the gay agenda.

Thats exactly how the world works outside the US.
I know what you are trying to say, but the school system should only teach basic items that you mentioned. The problem started when women took over the classroom and they brought in their emotions and screwed up higher learning at universities...just went down from there.

More kids should be in public schools which teach that LGBT is an attack on nature and that Europeans have contributed some positives on this planet.

I’ve said for years that we should take back the classroom from women. I don’t know when teaching became a female role, but men need to take over the profession.
Actual men. Can’t believe I have to specify that.

I agree with about junior high and up. But I would be creeper out by a male teaching my kids anywhere between Kindergarten to about 4th grade.

A stupid distraction from naming the actual problem. Conservatives LOVE to punt actual issues to avoid having to make real arguments.

It depends on the individual. You should be vetting everyone before you allow them access to your children regardless of sex. I don’t think teaching will ever be a male dominated profession unfortunately. A few years ago, I was approached by a group wanting to help encourage veterans to go into teaching. We launched a program at WCU, and in one full year we only had two male candidates and both switched to finance majors

And people like you just love to bitch without identifying the problem or providing solutions. You started an entire thread for this purpose.

If this is true, please explain the massive turnouts at school board meetings everywhere. The problem with most conservatives is they won't fight unless they know it is a problem, and the problem affects them directly.
Well, mess with my kids and you you will find out.

At universities? Not even close. I get grade school, but not higher learning. That's where a majority of the problems began and trickled down over the past 4 decades.

Yea. And a generation or two ago this would have included the brightest ladies in the country being teachers. Now those ladies with academic inclination have outlets to become doctors, lawyers, accountants, etc beyond just being a school teacher.

My best teacher ever was Mr. Norris, 3rd grade.
He gave me phrases I still use today:
"Close- Close only counts with horseshoes and hangenades";
"What if- What if grasshoppers had machine guns, then maybe the birds would leave them alone";
"Fair-the fair left town lat Monday. They took all the clowns with them"

Which is why the Peoples Republic of California tried a few years ago to make this practice illegal. They last thing the Left wants is to have parents in control of their childrens education.

It’s always been a female role through high school. That’s because a teachers work schedule coincides with their child’s schedule.

Abolish the department of education. Education is a state issue.

Yeah that's why my kids will be homeschooled and I will be regulating their use of technology.
