How do we know Joe isn’t a Chinese Agent?

Seriously?! This guy could be in cahoots to destroy America being a Chinese agent? How would we know? US intelligence probably wasn’t in a meeting with him and some Chinese senior official during his lifetime of being a politician, where he swore allegiance to the CCP.
Once sworn in now he acts in chinas interest, and has the capability of having the decision to save us or let us all die. Hence the Chinese balloon. How would one know truthfully if he isn’t out for all of our collective demise?

I don't think he is an agent. Agents are typically literate. I think he is being taken advantage of and that scares me more than anything.
