Do you actually expect people around here to say they would prefer Norwood over Reggie?

they are both really quiet people off the field.. i know reggie does a ton of commercials but he's pretty down to earth and norwood is a really country type of dude.

but yeah bush>>>>>> norwood and it isn't even close.. bush was leading the nfl in touchdowns this season until his injury..

Norwood, all the way. He is a true RB.

I guess the most TD's in the league before Bush got hurt doesnt mean shite? Just because the dude isnt a true prototype Adrian Peterson style RB, he is worthless? You are delusional.

people associate the word running back with a specific type of player...Reggie Bush is a RB by title only...anyone who follows this team knows he is much more

but if norwood were on the saints, would he get used like reggie is? like on those swing passes, for example

he is pretty dynamic in the open field in his own right and just as fast as bush

sorry if your subjective opinion doesn't agree with my objective opinion. i like bush but did he give us a legit running option? norwood would be. i would take westbrook, norwood, and chris johnson over bush right now. we need somebody who can consistantly RUN the ball right now. idiot.

with the money and draft pick invested i would rather someone who can also run the frickin ball as well. so your telling me you would want an offensive tackle who can run block but can't pass block? your logic is flawed. i'd take norwood with his salary with only using a 3rd round pick rather than bush with his salary with the 2nd pick overall. norwood is more so of a run/catch option over bush's catch/maybe successfully run off tackle a few times.

and based on the coach he has
and based on where he lines up
and based on how he's used

etc

Thats what Deuce is for. Unfortunately he isnt used enough. We cant control that. We dont have much of a run blocking OLine either, not one anywhere near Tennessee's caliber. Bush is such a great asset to our team because not only is he Breesy's safety valve, he is a tremendous decoy. Everytime Bush touches the ball in space, he can make you pay, and everytime he runs to the flats, he makes that defense scramble which opens up the field to Colston, Moore, Campbell, etc.
