i've watched pryor several times this season. he can run like a mofo, but his passing abilities doesnt come close to Lee's. I like Lee's upside more. the more experience he gets, he'll start seeing the field better, and will become a much more complete passer.

all the fools bashing lee right now will be looking like idiots this time next season.

I think three yrs from now we will be looking back and realize that 10-3 wasn't that bad and we will be thankful that he has three yrs of experience under his belt and plays lights out. His only two things he needs to work on is becomming a little more mobile and looking off receivers.

10-3? with the way we struggled this past week, our last 3 games are far from automatic. we win the next 2 and we'll probably play a 1-2 loss team from the big12 in the cotton.

the same could be said for Pryor. remember he's a true Fr. that didn't even enroll early. let him get some bowl prep and spring ball under his belt.

Are you kidding me... obviously you haven't seen Pryor weave through defenses and find the open man down field for the touchdown.

Yeah I would agree that Tebow and Pryor are doing pretty well for themselves. Now LEE on the other hand....

WOW! Just WOW!

Sounds like the same fans that cry about how Lee is only a RS frosh seem to forget that Pryor is a TRUE frosh. Could you imagine if JL started for us last year only 3 games into the season?

Pryor has not had the luxury to sit on the bench and watch Flynn for an entire season. If Pryor had HALS AS MUCH work as Lee has, he would be WAAAY more effective than Lee. JL may improve but he is in n way a more OVERALL better QB, and Pryor is ONLY a True frosh.

Pryor is a lot closer to being an effective passer than Lee is to be mobile. Isn't it kinda a tell-tell sign that Pryor plays with more poise and weaves through defenders and completes passes. JL throws picks at an alarming rate and shows no poise whatsoever. The most frustrating thing about JL's picks, besides many directly leading to TD's, is the fact that he throws so many when he is behind arguably the best offensive line in the SEC. He has an unusually low number of sacks, yet he is not mobile at all. If this kid is having trouble making decisions now, I doubt that our O'line will continue to be as good as it is now.

JL has a good arm but lacks the most important thing a QB needs....The ability to exercise good judgment. He may become a decent QB but he probably won't be brought up for the Heisman or nothing. The kid is not a play-maker. Pryor is a play-,aker and thats a skill that you don't teach, either you are 1, or you're not. Tebow, McCoy, Clark, these guys are all play-makers. There are tons of them in D1 ball even at smaller schools.

OIC, you must be referring to the "sterling" judgment Mr. Pryor exhibited late in the game against Penn State?

You know, the marvelous frosh judgment where instead of securing the ball and the first down to run out the clock with tOSU in the lead ... he tries to head for glory and outrun PSU's speedy linebackers ... and fumbles the game away.

Yeah, THAT was just "the ability to exercise good judgment" tOSU needed. Yup.

Maybe Lee wishes that he played in the same conference as Pryer.
Wasn't Ohio State rated as the best defense in the country last year? How did Flynn perform vs that number one rated defense?

I agree. Lee has a better deep ball than Pryor. I like Pryor's short-medium passing better than Lee, though, and obviously, his big play potential with his feet.

Just a true frosh trying to do too much, when nothing was there. No big deal. He'll learn from that.

Yeah and they still lost 4 games last year with a rebuilding team. We'll be back and we'll be fine.

On the flip side. Lee wishes he had the talent Pryor has.
