Let’s have an adult conversation about Donald J Trump

We’ll start with the obvious question.
Why does the DC Uniparty and particularly the Dim/Groomer and never Trump factions of the Uniparty want to destroy Trump?
There was a time, not long ago, when Trump was not only tolerated by the well connected people in politics and entertainment but was considered a cultural icon….
We can later expand the discussion of all things Trump but I think it’s important to get a general consensus on why Trump is so loathed and hated by many people who do business or who work in the Imperial City, the city we refer to as Washington DC.
Why does the DC Uniparty and particularly the Dim/Groomer and never Trump factions of the Uniparty want to destroy Trump?

Donny has his pluses. He's hardheaded (in a good way sometimes) and can communicate a clear vision to people who normally struggle to understand politics.
He also has his weaknesses which unfortunately, make his promises seem empty.
There are better and worse. I just cannot understand the personality cult.

The question is, will he go scorched earth if elected or promise and let the uniparty block him again? They seem to not want to take that chance...

Trump upset the apple cart.
All these cats in DC get along after hours, and they are laughing all the way to the bank, literally, with their kickbacks and investments. The "opposition" is just a show.

Trump got to where he is by attacking, humiliating and running down his enemies and to a lesser extent his friends.

I’ve said numerous times over the past 6 years, bring me another America First patriot that can unequivocally unseat Trump from his position and I’m all in…..still waiting for that America First patriot to step up.

Trump is the lightning rod and it's connected to the a populist powder keg. Remove Trump, you diffuse the situation.

I could care less that the "uniparty" hates Trump. If DeSantis is elected they will hate him too.
Getting the most conservative candidate who can win "elected" should be the goal. Trump isn't that candidate.

I have a really have a hard time understanding what he has ever done that warrants the perpetual onslaught against him. He is a fricking politician now. Some people will disagree with his policy decisions. Oh the horror!
He does nothing that is noy done worse by some other politician and usually done by most of them. He has no policy position that is held by less than 35% or 40% of the country.
He is whined about "for being a democrat" and being to the right of Genghis Khan AT THE SAME TIME.
