Son of former Red Sox star George Scott kills his 8-year-old boy before taking own life

Authorities said Scott appeared to have killed his kid with a sharp object before committing suicide, according to WCVB.

Just over two weeks earlier, detectives investigating the disappearance of the boy’s mother, Lisa Hazard, had searched the home, The Boston Globe reported. The mother has been missing since March 2019.
Scott had been named a “person of interest” in the missing persons case, which remains unsolved.
In 2021, Scott launched an NFT collection featuring his late father.
“He was a great guy,” Scott III said of his father.

I’ll just never understand the murder suicide thing. You want to take yourself out? Rock on. But why murder someone innocent? Simply terrible

No idea how you could have a child, raise it to 8 years old and then just do that. I couldn't do that to a dog much less a human being.
