How long will smoke be a factor in the NE?

Wife and I are flying into Baltimore on June 22. We will be seeing baseball and doing touristy stuff in Philly and Boston before going to Quebec. I’ve traveled around fires before, Colorado Springs in early 2010’s. It sucked having so much cancelled.

You truly can’t tell a difference here in Boston. I’d imagine it’ll be long cleared up by the 22nd

Probably depends on how long it keeps burning. I think the winds change soon and start blowing in from the Atlantic for the summer so that should clear it out as well.

It’s hazy here in Baltimore but I can’t imagine it all being around in two weeks.
Take that for what it’s worth. I thought we would all be back in our offices within a few weeks back in 2020.
FYI. Yesterday was hazy as is today. Today I actually smell it.

I am currently in Pittsburgh and its not really an issue here. It was smoky/hazy this morning and they had elevated warnings about air pollution but that was about it, they played the Pirates game yesterday and have the Mets coming in town this weekend and the games seem to be going as scheduled. I guess we will have to see if it gets any worse.

It seems a little better today in NJ. My nose started to run after being outside for 5 minutes watering plants this morning but at least it's not orange outside like yesterday. Golfing tomorrow so fingers crossed it's gone

Yeah I saw that they extended the air quality alert until tomorrow night at midnight, just cancelled my round for tomorrow. If you feel like playing within the next few weeks let me know, I'm also in north Jersey and unemployed

I see the Phillies game tonight is rescheduled. Tanks are still on for 2. Ballgames are the bulk of our outdoor activities, along with general sightseeing.
Me too. Ironically, our honeymoon was scheduled for the summer of 2020 and we were gonna go to Quebec. Three years later, this could become an issue.
