Arkansas is a better program than Ole Miss, this should be a fun game.

Arkansas a better program than Ole Miss? Maybe, but what does that have to do with '08 LSU beating '08 OM?

Statistically, OM and LSU are almost identical.

Confidence wise, we'll find out on Saturday.

Should be a good one.

It's gonna be a close game with ups and downs for both teams. It'll be interesting to watch the momentum changes, I expect there'll be a few for each team. High scoring, OT possible. I say 40-38 Tigers in OT. Definitely a multi-trip-to-the-head-to-piss game (translation: exciting).

Nutt is 4-6 vs. LSU:

wins in 98,00,02,07
losses in 99,01,03,04,05,06

01,05,06 were won by LSU by 3,2, and 5 respectively. In other words, it's been relatively close over 10 years.

Nutt got outcoached by Miles 2 years ago. But last year Nutt outcoached him. Also Mcfadden had something to do with the talent gap last year.

According to wildreb, nutt always has LSU's number.

I dont feel like looking it up but I would like to see the avg margin for victory against Arkansas. I bet it is really slim and that is a testament to Nutt. The man is a very good coach and game planner and always has his teams ready to compete and be competitive.

4-6 is about as close as you are going to get to having LSU's number.

One of my worst memories as an LSU fan is that damn game in little rock where Matt Jones completed like 5 passes all game, then threw two bombs to move Arky 80 yards down the field for a last-second touchdown. And Bradie James just stood there and watched!

We were better than Arkansas that year. I'm still not sure they made the extra point. If only Miles had had us finishing a game, not kicking a measly field goal to go up 20-14. TD and its over. But then we let them go 80 yds in no time. Where was Miles' killer instinct ?

Wait a minute ? That was Nick Saban, wasn't it ?

God looking at the box score it's worse than I remembered. In the first 59 minutes and 20 second, Matt Jones completed two passes.

Then it was three plays, 81 yards, boom, boom.
