For our Louisiana and other non-Atlanta baws, the Peachtree Road Race is Atlanta's annual 10K ran every 4th of July morning. It's our Boston Marathon.

Wow, it was dumber than I was even expecting.
The vehicle didn't turn at a street corner, where I could imagine the runner making the mistake (because it still looks like you're on the course). It was a vehicle exit through a hole in the temporary barriers, like they have at any race that has vehicle escorts. Talk abut tunnel vision, she saw nothing but the vehicle she was following. Man the chick in P2 could have been a little more sporting.

That point in the run when you’re running as fast as she was you’re not yelling shite. Also there’s a $5000 difference from first to second. Not her fault the chick in first didn’t pay attention. Teferi is an elite road runner there’s no excuse

Damn that has got to suck. She has to be beating herself up.
Also, I'm an idiot. I saw the 30 minute time, and my first thought was, "ok, that's a pretty solid 5k for women for sure". But it's actually a freaking 10k. Elite runners are so damn fast.
